__To Get to the Big Day__
By Gibberish

Buffy looked around the office surprised. She had expected it to be ... Darker. "Hello?" She called out. No answer. She made herself comfortable in a chair and waited.

Cordelia and Doyle came in arguing. "Fine, you make the coffee. But there better not be any alcohol in ..." Cordelia's words trailed off when she saw Buffy. "Oh no. Is it the end of the world?"

Buffy nearly laughed. "Not that I know of." She answered. Her eyes flicked to Doyle, who was triggering her Slayer sense. "Hi." She said a bit warily.

"Doyle this is Buffy." Cordelia said. "Buffy this is Doyle."

 Buffy nodded. "Oz mentioned you."

"Was it about Bam Bam?" Cordelia asked with a grin. Buffy looked at her blankly. "Bam Bam?" She shook her head. "Never mind. Where's Angel?"

"Should be stumblin' in any time." Doyle told her.

"If it's not the end of the world, why are you here?" Cordelia asked with her usual lack of tact.

"I need to talk to Angel." Buffy said used to Cordelia.

"We should probably go then." Doyle commented.

"No." Buffy said quickly. "I mean, ..."

"Buffy?"  Angel said as he walked in from the other direction.

Buffy whirled to face him. Her heart rate speeded up at the sight of him, but not for the reason it used to. All she saw was the past, Giles was her future. "Hi Angel." She tried to smile.

Angel looked happy to see her, but confused. "I thought we agreed ..."

"I know." Buffy said. "It's important. Not end of the world important. More the I want you to hear it from me, important."

Angel gestured her into his office. Cordelia and Doyle watched them go in and Angel closed the door.

Angel closed the door and turned to Buffy. "Is something wrong, Buffy?"  Buffy began to pace the confines of the office. "You know how you wanted me to get on with my life?" She looked at him and he nodded. "I have. I have to admit, my first attempt sucked."

"That would be the guy that Spike threw in my face?" Angel asked. His voice was even, he didn't sound angry and he wasn't. He was just sorry that she had been hurt, again.

"Why am I not surprised?" She asked herself. "Parker." She made a face at the memory. "My second attempt has been more successful."

 "Riley?" Angel asked.

Buffy looked at him. "Why does everyone think Riley? How do you know about him anyway?" She shook her head. "No, don't tell me. Not Riley." She looked away. "God, I knew this was going to be hard, but I didn't think it was going to be this hard."

"Buffy," Angel said gently. "Whoever he is, I'm sure that he doesn't deserve you, but if he makes you happy, then I'm happy for you. As long as it isn't Xander." He almost smiled. "Does he know about you being the Slayer?"

"Better than anyone." Buffy said without thought.

Angel looked at her quizzically. "Giles let you tell someone?"

"Didn't have to." Buffy said quietly. "It is Giles."

Angel looked blank for a moment. "What's Giles?" Then, he got it. "You and Giles?" He asked in disbelief. He dropped back onto his desk. He surprised Buffy by laughing. "You do like older men."  Buffy looked hurt. "What does that mean?"

"Nothing." Angel told her seriously. "At least I know that Giles will take care of you." Buffy still looked hurt. "I didn't mean anything. I guess I'm really not all that surprised. I knew Giles ... You've always cared about each other a great deal. I wish you both happiness, you both deserve it. And my offer still stands, if you ever need me, either of you, all you have to do is ask."

Buffy looked at him sadly. "I never wanted to hurt you." She said softly.  "You haven't." Angel told her. "Not really. Buffy, I want you to be happy." He touched her cheek. "With Giles, you can be."

Buffy hugged him quickly. "If you need me, you'll call?" Angel nodded and returned her hug. Buffy pulled away and turned for the door. "Good-bye Angel." She opened the door and left, with a final wave. That's when Angel saw it, the ring. Angel closed his eyes once she had left the office. He heard her say good-bye to the others and them return it.

Cordelia and Doyle walked into Angel's office. "Angel?" Cordelia said softly.  Angel opened his eyes and looked at them.

"What is it?" Doyle asked. "'Cause I've got to tell you it looks like end of the world stuff from where I'm standin'."

 "Just mine." Angel said.

Buffy made her way back to the hotel. Giles was pacing nervously when she opened the door to their room. Giles looked at her sharply, when he heard the door open. "Are you all right?" He went over to her.  Buffy took a deep breath. "I think so."

"How did he take it?" Giles asked as he took her in his arms.

"Well," Buffy told him. "He was happy for us. At least he said he was." Buffy held him tightly.

"I wish you had let me go with you." Giles said.

"I just don't think that would have been fair to Angel." Buffy told him. "Besides, it's done now." She rubbed her cheek against his chest. "You can go with me to see Dad."

"Oh, can I?" Giles asked wryly. "Do you think he'll react badly?"

Buffy pulled back and looked at him. "Duh." She said. "Giles, he doesn't know you. He doesn't really know me anymore, if he ever did. He doesn't know about the Slaying. He knows about you, 'cause I talk about you, but not like this. I know exactly how he's going to react - 'Are you out of your mind? What do you mean you're marrying a guy more than twice your age?' - I can't even explain to him that age aside, you're more likely to outlive me by quite a few years."

"Don't talk like that." Giles admonished. "You know I don't like it."

Buffy looked up at him. "Is this fair to you?"

"Fair?" Giles echoed. "What did Angel say to you?"

"Angel didn't say anything." Buffy told him. She pulled away from him, went over to the window and looked out. "I don't want you to go through what I know you'll go through when I die."

Giles walked over and turned her to face him. "Buffy, there are no guarantees in life. You know that. I want to be with you for as long as I can. A week, a month, a year." He tilted her face up to his. "Fifty years. I want them with you."

"I want fifty years with you." Buffy said softly. "I want it all. Children, grandchildren, all of it. I never wanted that before." She met his eyes with tears in hers. "Can Slayer's even have babies?"

"Of course they can." Giles assured her. "And there is no recording of a Slayer giving birth to a Slayer. We *can* have it all, Buffy."

"Promise me?" Buffy asked with pleading eyes.

 "I promise." Giles assured her.

"Are you crazy?" Hank Summers said to his daughter. "He's twice your age. More." Giles bit back a grin at Buffy's uncanny knowledge of her Father's reaction.

"Mr. Summers ..."

"And you," Hank said as he turned on Giles. "Go have a mid-life crisis with somebody else's daughter."

"Dad!" Buffy said. "Stop it. Are you even going to pretend to listen to me?"  Hank sighed. "Buffy, ..."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know." Buffy said. "Dad, you don't even know him."

"He was your teacher." Hank said.

"He was my librarian." Buffy clarified. "In high school. Dad, I love him. He loves me. And amazingly enough, he wants to be with me."

"That's not fair." Hank said quietly, hurt.

"Isn't it?" Buffy asked. "I need this from you Dad. I need you to be okay with this. But if you aren't, it won't change anything. I want to share this with you, but I am not here to ask for your permission." She took her Father's hand. "He makes me happy. He makes me feel ..." She sighed sadly. "He makes me feel alive." She smiled at him. "Do you remember when I was twelve. You and Mom decided that it was time for *the* talk. You told me that one day I would find a man that would love me, protect me and take care of me. You told me to never accept any man that wasn't the best. Giles is that man."

Giles was touched. "I assure you Mr. Summers, Buffy will always be the most important thing in my life."

Hank looked at them, really looked at them. When did she grow up? He was saddened that he had missed it. "I can't talk you into even waiting?" He didn't understand the pain in his daughter's eyes at the question. "I'll be there."

Buffy and Giles went back to the hotel. Buffy collapsed on the bed and Giles sat next to her. Buffy massaged her temples. "Headache?" Giles asked. Buffy nodded and he placed her head in his lap as he began to massage her head gently. "Tension most likely." He commented.  Buffy smiled. "Ya think?" She closed her eyes. "God, that feels good."

Giles kept up the gentle massage until she fell asleep. He covered her up and called room service. He let her nap until dinner arrived.

Once dinner had arrived and they'd eaten, they decided to make an early night of it. They stripped, cuddled up and both fell asleep quickly.

Buffy woke up, instantly alert. She looked at Giles, who slept peacefully. Someone knocked on the door. She got up, careful not to wake him, threw on his shirt and went to the door. She peaked out and then opened the door.

"Cordie."

"How could you do that to Angel?" Cordelia asked without preamble.

"Do what?" Buffy asked in return, confused.

"Whatever it is that you did." Cordelia said. "Angel didn't say exactly."

"He didn't tell you?" Buffy asked, then answered herself. "No, of course he didn't. I didn't *do* anything to Angel." She took a breath. "I'm getting married Cordie. Next week."

"To someone other than Angel?" Cordelia asked. "Talk about not wasting time."  Buffy looked at her sadly. "No, I'm not. I'm sorry I hurt Angel, but ..." There was a sound in the room.

Cordelia's eyes widened. "You brought him here? Cruel much?"

Buffy looked at her steadily. "I brought him here to meet my Dad. Look, I don't owe you any explanations and I don't owe Angel any. He left me, I moved on."

 "Buffy?" Giles said sleepily.

"Wait a minute." Cordelia said. "I know that voice."

Giles put on a pair of pants and came to the door. "Cordelia." He said with genuine affection.

Cordelia blinked. "Oh. My. God." She looked at Buffy. "Could you have come up with a way to hurt Angel more?" She asked sarcastically.

Buffy's temper snapped. "If I had tried really hard. I am *so* sorry that my being happy hurts Angel. But, you know what? It's not my problem anymore. He left me twice and I wanted to die both times. Every time I felt happy, I felt guilty because he can't ever be. Then, I realized something. Angel wouldn't want me to be. I still care about Angel, I don't want him hurt, but I'll be damned if I'll spend the rest of whatever time I have not being happy because it might hurt him. Giles is the best thing that has ever happened to me and I'm not throwing it away because of you."

"God, you always think of yourself." Cordelia said. "Angel ..."

"Cordelia!" Angel yelled. He walked towards them, Doyle beside him. Angel looked at Buffy, the tears on her cheeks. "I'm sorry Buffy." He reached out to swipe her tears away, but she moved back, out of reach and turned to Giles instead.

Giles took Buffy into his arms and felt her tears against his chest. He met Angel's eyes, saw the pain in them, then Buffy sniffled. "I think it might be best if you all left." He said, not unkindly.

Angel nodded in understanding. Doyle led a complaining Cordelia off and Angel followed slowly behind. He turned one last time and met Giles' eyes. "See that she's happy."

Giles nodded before he closed the door. He led Buffy back to the bed and they sat with her in his lap. "You mustn't listen to Cordelia." Buffy didn't respond, but then he hadn't really expected her to do so. "She's wrong, you know. And jealous, I think. She didn't even know what to be mad at you for. She blames you for just about everything that's happened to her since you came to Sunnydale."

 "I know." Buffy said quietly.

"But it hurts all the same." Giles said for her.

 "Am I selfish?" Buffy asked.

"No," Giles said softly. "I don't think so. Not really. Buffy, you died to save this world. You sent the man you loved to hell. There aren't many people that could be that selfless. You are entitled to be happy. You continually put your life on the line ..."

"Giles, I've done bad things." Buffy said sadly. "Maybe I'm not supposed to be happy. Maybe that's why ..."

"Nonsense!" Giles said adamantly. "Do you think that you are the only person to make a mistake? God knows that I made enough in my youth, but that doesn't make you a bad person. Do you think any less of me for what happened to Randall?"

"No," Buffy said quickly. "It was an accident, you didn't mean to ..."

"I meant to raise the demon." Giles pointed out. "You can't judge someone, even yourself, for one action."

"That's just it." Buffy said "It isn't just one action. I tried to walk away from my destiny. Three times."

"But you always came back." Giles said gently.

"The Anointed one nearly sacrificed you to bring the Master back." Buffy said next.

"You got us out." Giles said patiently.

"What about sleeping with Angel?" Buffy asked.

"We've had that discussion." Giles reminded her.

"I ran away." Buffy said weakly.

"After I told Angel how to destroy the world." Giles said drily. "And my commenting on you running away, pot, kettle, black, I think that really says it all."

"I hid Angel." She said in a small voice.

"Buffy, I admit that was very painful." Giles said steadily. "But, do you think that I don't understand that you were confused? And don't mention the feeding, I still have strong issues with that. Would you like to talk about my weak moments now?"

"You're the strongest person I know." Buffy said.

"Hardly." Giles commented. "I ran away instead of facing my destiny. Raised demons, fought, stole ..." He looked pained by the memories. "I came here all eager, the Slayer. I wasn't prepared for you to die. Here's a prophecy, oh dear, can't fight it. Because of me, Eyghon nearly killed both you and Jenny. Would you like to discuss that bloody candy?"  He cupped her cheek in his hand gently. "Should we talk about your last birthday?" He asked quietly.  Buffy shook her head and the tears began again.

"We all do things we regret." Giles told her gently. "I don't regret falling

in love with you and I never will."

They returned to Sunnydale the next afternoon. Joyce had been working with Willow to get as much organized as possible. Buffy and Giles were both surprised to find Joyce at the dorm with Willow. Willow on the computer and Joyce looking over her shoulder.

"How'd they look Xander?" Willow asked without looking up.

Buffy stopped, just inside the door and took in the image. "Okay, what's going on?" Buffy asked bemused.

Willow looked up, as did Joyce. "Buffy, I thought you were Xander with the invitations." Willow said with a big smile. "How did it go with Angel?" She asked sympathetically.

Buffy shrugged. "Better than it went with Cordie. Even Dad went better than Cordie." She said.

 Willow looked confused. "Huh?"

"Your Dad is coming?" Joyce asked concerned.

Buffy nodded and smiled. "He said he'd be there. He wasn't thrilled, mind you, but he said that if I was getting married, he'd be there."

Joyce smiled, relieved. "Good for him."

"Cordie?" Willow asked. "What did Cordie have to do with it?" She saw Giles shake his head, to let it go.  Buffy rolled her eyes. "Cordie has decided that I am not allowed to be happy. Doesn't matter, she's not important. What have you guys been up to?"

Willow really wanted to know more, but the look that Giles gave her prevented her from asking. "Everything is just about set. Xander and Anya are picking up the invitations and arranging for the flowers. The cake has been ordered. Your Mom found a little chapel and the reception will be at her house." She looked at Joyce. "What else?"

"The food." Joyce said. She looked at her daughter. "Willow and I have started on that. It will all be ready by Saturday. We need to go shopping for a dress."

Buffy looked amazed. "How did you ...? When did ...? We were only gone a day and a half."

"Nothing can stop the Scooby Gang on a mission." Xander said as he came in behind her. Anya by his side. "And we've never had a happier mission."

 Willow shook her head. "Nope."

Buffy leaned against Giles and he wrapped his arm around her. She smiled at them, her eyes a little misty. "I've never felt happier than right at this moment."

 "Or luckier." Giles added.

They moved the wedding preparations to Buffy's Mother's house.  Buffy watched her friends and her Mother organize her wedding. She glanced at Giles, he had sort of a glazed expression in his eyes. She smiled softly and laid her head against his shoulder. He rubbed his cheek against the top of her head. "Have you talked to Xander yet?" She asked him quietly.

"I don't quite know how." Giles admitted sheepishly.

"Simple. Xander, would you be my best man?" Buffy said. "Is all this all right with you? They just kinda took over."

Giles tilted her face to his. "As long as you're happy." He smiled. "And we're not married by an Elvis impersonator, it's bloody wonderful." He kissed her forehead, when she laughed. "Send Xander into the kitchen after me?"  Buffy nodded as he stood. He touched her cheek and went into the kitchen.  When Giles and Xander returned a few minutes later, Xander was wiping his eyes. Anya saw this and her eyes narrowed. "What happened?"

Xander smiled a little shakily. "Giles asked me to be his best man."

Anya's face cleared. "Oh, that's all right, then."

Buffy smiled up at Giles as he sat back down next to her. "Was that so difficult?" She asked him.

"I had no idea that he would react so strongly." Giles commented a bit dazed.  This time, she touched his cheek. "You're really the closest thing he has to a father. I'm not the only one here that loves you. Just the only one that's *in* love with you."

Giles attempted a smile. "I should hope so."

Buffy stared at her reflection. The dress was perfect. "Oh Buffy." Willow said awed, then she smiled. "Giles will be nonverbal."

Buffy smiled at Willow's reflection, then saw her Mom, who had tears running down her face. She turned. "Mom?"

Joyce smiled through her tears. "You look beautiful. I just ... I thought I'd have a few more years before ... One minute I'm taking you home from the hospital and the next you're getting married. I can't remember seeing you as happy as you've been for the last few days. ... It's all gone by so fast."

"I know Mom." Buffy said. "But I am happy."

Joyce smiled again. "I know." Joyce looked at her daughter. Willow was right, Rupert Giles would have no idea what hit him. That thought made her laugh.

****************

Giles paced at the front of the chapel. Xander, himself a little antsy, watched him. "You know she's here, would you relax?"

Giles glared at him. "Do you have the ring?"

Xander thought about pretending to not be able to find it, but thought better of it with the look in Giles' eyes. Xander reached into the breast pocket of the tux and pulled out the ring. He put it back, after he showed it to him. "You can't be afraid that Buffy's going to stand you up, so what is it?"

Giles stopped pacing and looked at Xander. "Her Father hasn't arrived yet. She'll be so hurt ..." He didn't need to say any more.

Xander nodded. "He called. I told you that. There was an accident, but he's on his way."

"I know." Giles conceded. "I just want everything to be perfect for her."

Xander looked at Giles and grinned. "You're here, that's all Buffy needs." Giles looked at Xander startled. "You're here, she's here. What more do you need?"

Giles put a hand on the young man's shoulder. "We need our family around us." He said gently. Xander ducked his head.

Joyce watched as Buffy, Willow and Anya giggled over something, and smiled to herself. This is what she'd always wanted for Buffy, she thought as Willow adjusted the veil on Buffy's head. Her daughter was getting married to a good man. That the man was than twenty-five years Buffy's senior didn't bother her as much as it might have. Given the circumstances of her daughter's life she supposed it was even understandable. Buffy needed her Giles in a way that Joyce would never understand completely, but she knew that with Rupert Giles Buffy would be happy. Given the three pairs of torn panties that she had seen in her daughter's trash can, very happy. Joyce blushed as she remembered her first reaction, that she'd guessed it hadn't been the candy.  She looked once again to her daughter, Buffy was looking at her image in the mirror with a serene gaze that Joyce had never seen on Buffy before. What was she thinking?

Buffy looked in the mirror, her reflection stared back at her contentedly. She thought about Giles as he waited outside. He'd already been nervous when they'd said goodnight the night before. She smiled, he wasn't nervous for himself, but for her. He didn't care where they got married, who was there or what they wore, but she did and he wanted it to be everything she dreamed of as a little girl. What she couldn't get through to him was that, yes, this was all wonderful, but she needed only him. Except for her family, the rest didn't matter. She met her Mother's eyes in the mirror and smiled.

Hank rushed into the chapel a little mussed, but none the worse for where. There were a few people seated in the pews. He saw Rupert and Xander coming towards him. "Sorry." He said as soon as they reached him.

"Xander said that there had been an accident." Giles said as he looked him over. "You weren't involved, I hope."

"No." Hank said. "It stopped traffic for about an hour and a half though." He looked around the chapel again. "Not a lot of people here."

Something at the front of the chapel had caught Giles' attention. "Everyone that matters is here now." He looked back to Hank. "Buffy's waiting for you."

"I'll show you Mr. Summers." Xander said and led the way to the small ante room that Buffy was getting ready in. He knocked on the door and opened it just a crack. "Buff, your Dad's here." He said without looking.

Joyce opened the door and Xander's and Hank's eyes widened. She grinned as they looked at her daughter.

"Wow." Xander said reverently and then swallowed with difficulty. His gaze strayed to the other occupants of the room, even Buffy's Mom. "Wow." He said again.

Joyce laughed. "Thank you, Xander." She looked at her ex-husband, who stared at their daughter. "Doesn't she look beautiful?"

"Always that." Hank said. He saw Buffy blush and smiled.

"I'm not sure it would be fair to let these four out of this room." Xander commented. "I think I should go warn Giles."

"Don't you dare." Buffy said mildly.

"You don't want him to have a heart attack." Xander said.

Buffy grinned mischievously. "His heart can take it."

Xander rolled his eyes. He saw Mrs. Summers fuss over Mr. Summers for a minute. She straightened his tie and his hair. She flushed and stepped back quickly when she realized what she was doing, but Hank smiled at her. Xander raised his brows and then shook his head. He held out his arm to Mrs. Summers. "Ready?"

Joyce gave Buffy a kiss on the cheek and took Xander's arm. He heard her sigh as they left the ante room.

When the Wedding March began, Xander was torn. He wanted to see Giles' face, but he wanted to support the man should he need it. Anya came down the aisle first, followed by Willow. Then the music swelled and it was Buffy's turn.

Giles could have sworn that he felt his heart stop when Buffy first came into view. He knew his breathing stopped, he heard Xander quietly tell him to breathe. She looked absolutely breathtaking, literally. Like moonlight on water. He couldn't take his eyes off of her. As she had done since he met her, she captivated him.

Buffy's eyes took in her groom. A tux, Giles in a tux was a sight to behold. She had noticed that at the Prom. The look of love in his eyes only added to his attractiveness and that look was for her. She smiled at him and when he returned it, she could have sworn that she felt her heart melt.  Hank handed her over to the man waiting at the end of the aisle and his doubts faded as he saw the look the couple exchanged.

The Ceremony was simple and quiet and short. At one point though Giles saw his love's eyes widen. When he casually followed her gaze, he saw Angel standing in the shadows. He was almost afraid that the vampire had shown to cause trouble, but then saw him smile sadly and move farther into the shadows.

"You may now kiss the bride."

Giles looked at Buffy's upturned face. She let a small smile play about her lips and her eyes shone like stars. He gently cupped her face in his hands and bent down. The kiss was gentle and filled with promise.  Buffy knew that Giles was holding back, she rested her hands against his chest, she let one finger gentle scratch against him, She felt him jerk and grinned against his mouth.

Giles ended the kissed and placed his mouth against her ear. "You'll pay for that Luv." He whispered. He heard Buffy's own whisper of "Promise?" before he pulled away. The smoldering look he gave her was all the answer she needed.  They did pictures and the well wishes and made their way outside to a blizzard of bubbles and birdseed. Buffy was just turning to kiss her new husband when she saw a familiar figure across the street. To everyone's surprise, she turned her back on the crowd and threw the bouquet. If anyone was surprised that it went flying over the crowd, they never said.  Everyone turned to see where the bouquet had gone and saw Oz across the street with the bouquet in his hands. Oz looked at Buffy with an almost smile. "Nice throw."

Buffy smiled at him. "Nice catch. You do know tradition, right?"

 "Oz?" Giles said.

Oz looked at Giles. "You didn't think I'd miss this, did you?" Oz asked the other man. Oz finally turned to Willow. She stared at him, her face ashen and he tossed the bouquet to her. She caught it on reflex.

"O-Oz?" Willow said in an unsteady voice.

"Receptions at Mom's." Buffy said. "Be there."

Hank leaned over to Joyce. "What's going on?" He asked in a whisper.

"Willow and Oz." Joyce whispered back. "They love each other very much, but Oz had to work a few things out. The poor girl's been miserable."

The reception at Joyce's was in full swing when Willow and Oz showed up. One look at Willow's glowing face and no one needed to ask how things went, not even Hank.

Buffy and Giles exchanged smiles and quietly left the party.

Giles opened his front door and picked Buffy up into his arms and carried her inside. Once inside, he didn't set her down though, he closed the door with his foot and carried her upstairs. In the bedroom loft, he gently set Buffy on her feet. He bent down and kissed her the way he'd wanted to at the chapel. He pulled back breathless. "I love you Mrs. Giles."

"Have I mentioned how scrumptious you look in a tux?" Buffy asked as she ran her hands over his chest and then pushed his jacket off his shoulders. "Not as scrumptious as you look out of it though." She undid the bow tie and threw it over her shoulder. Her fingers went to work on his buttons, then cuffs and his shirt was gone. When she reached for his pants he stopped her. She looked up at him questioningly.

Giles put his hands on her shoulders and turned her around. He placed a soft kiss on her neck and began to unfasten all the little buttons that held her dress together. He placed kisses on her back after each button. When he was on his knees and had reached the small of her back, Buffy let the dress fall to the floor.

Buffy stepped out of the dress that pooled at her feet, set it carefully on the chair and turned to face Giles in only her panties, thigh highs and heels. She saw him kick off his shoes.

Giles' breath caught. He rose, unsteadily, to his feet as she made her way back to him. Buffy ran her hands over his bare chest, lightly raking her nails through his chest hair. Then, again, they went to the fastener of his slacks. He didn't try to stop her this time, as she unfastened them. She ran her knuckles gently over the bulge beneath his zipper and his hips jerked. She pulled his face down for a kiss as she unzipped his trousers. They fell to his ankles and, never breaking the kiss, he stepped out of them. Their tongues mated languidly, his hands cupped her bottom and hers, she cupped his erection through the black silk boxers and her other hand slid under the waistband to his butt.  Giles moved in her hand as it slid up and down his length.

With a growl, his hands went to the seams of her panties and he tore them off. He backed her to the bed until she fell back on it. He moved to join her, but she stopped him.  Buffy stared at the black silk covered groin. She reached out and slid them down over his hips. Giles kicked them off along with his socks. She reached out and ran one finger-nail down his length and back up the underside.  Giles shuddered. "Are you trying to kill me?" He dropped to his knees again and kissed her tenderly. His hands gently massaged her breasts before they slid to her thighs. He kissed his way down her throat to her left breast. She arched into his mouth and he gently bit the nipple. His hands gently moved her legs apart and he pressed between them.

Giles moved his hands to her bottom and pulled her to the edge of the bed, she wrapped her legs around his chest and pulled him even closer to her hot center. He could feel the heels of her shoes dig into his back. He took her hands in his and laid her back. Her legs slid down to his hips as he rose off his knees, just high enough, to press himself into her and they both gasped. Buried inside her, using only his hips, he pushed her farther onto the bed.

"Giles." Buffy whimpered and saw that Giles was biting his lip to keep from shouting out. With his knees on the bed, he pulled nearly all the way out only to push her again using his hips. This time he groaned. With her hands gripped in his as they rested on either side of her face, Buffy tightened her legs around him and arched her own hips off the bed. Giles bent down and took her mouth in an almost savage kiss as he began to push in and out of her in long, hard strokes. Everytime he thrust, his chest hair gently rubbed against her sensitized breasts.  Buffy tried to free her hands, but Giles wouldn't release his tight grip on them. Buffy lifted her hips to meet his thrusts, harder and faster, until she screamed. "Giles!"

At the feel of her inner muscles clutching around him, Giles let go, he pounded into her. Once, twice and he cried out. "Oh God!" One more hard thrust and his seed spilled into her.

They were both panting, when Giles collapsed on top of her. He finally released her hands and she held him to her. Her legs, though lax, were still around him.

When they caught their breath, they snuggled under the covers. Buffy's head rested on his chest, his arms held her close as she drew patterns in his chest hair with a finger nail. He could feel her breath against his chest and her thigh against his groin. He couldn't believe that she was already beginning to effect him again.

 "Giles?" Buffy said softly.

 "Yes, Luv." Giles responded.

 "I'm pregnant."
