So many nights I've sat here
Trying to fight my worst fear
That one night you won't came back alive

So many days trying my best
To prepare you for your hardest test
Trying to help you stay alive

So many things I've never told you
So many dreams I wish I could show you
If only I could let you know
That I will never let you go

To have to face the night alone
And I don't wnat you
To have to do it on your own
Watching you face the night

But the night's so long
