Dawn! If you don't stop playing that sodding song I'm gonna kill you!"
"You've been hanging with Giles too much, and I like this song, so there!" And Dawn turned up
the volume so loud the walls started shaking. Just to really annoy her sister the teen set the
track to repeat and waited for the inevitable fallout.
"That's it! You are in so much trouble young lady!" The slayer pounded on her sister's locked
door. "Turn that thing off! Now!"
Receiving no answer she slumped to the floor in defeat listening to the loud music. "I'm gonna
sit out here until you need to go and when you do I'm gonna destroy that CD player with my bare
hands!"
"I'll take it with me!"
"Argh!" Buffy beat the floor in frustration. As she thought of her next threat the song ceased to
be just noise and she started to hear the lyrics. It was spooky, the track was a mirror of her
thoughts. It was her innermost feelings of love and fear reflected in song.
"At least out loud I won't say I'm in love...with Giles." She whispered to herself.
"It's okay Dawnie, on second thoughts it's a lovely song. Just turn it down before everyone goes
deaf."
"Rats!" Dawn switched the music off. It wasn't worth playing it if her sister liked it.
Buffy walked off down the hall humming, reverse psycology, worked every time.
# [Meg:] If there's a prize for rotten judgement
