__Oh Boy! Or Girl?__
By Angel

"Giles? Can I leave Willow here tonight? I don't want to wake her, she hasn't been sleeping well since Oz left."

"Hmm... what? Oh... yes of course she can stay. Why don't you get her a blanket from the hall closet. I'm awfully tired, I think I'll go to bed, too. Come by in the morning for a training session and some more research on that prophecy."

"Okay Giles. See ya tomorrow."

Buffy put the blanket over Willow and left the apartment to do a quick patrol before she headed home for the night. Giles went around the house to lock up. Before he went up he stood and watched Willow sleep for a few minutes.

'I haven't seen her look so peaceful in quite some time' He mused to himself 'Damn Oz for leaving her so heartbroken. He threw away something wonderful when he hurt Willow. How could anyone willingly walk away from someone that beautiful, both on the inside and the outside.' Still pondering on the situation and what he could do to help Willow through it, he walked upstairs and lay down to sleep. That night he had very pleasant dreams about a certain young hacker...

-------------------------------------

Willow awoke to sunlight streaming in the windows. She stretched a moment before she covered her mouth with her hand and quickly ran to the bathroom almost running into Giles who was just coming out of the kitchen. The sounds of Willow retching and Spike complaining drifted into the living room.

"Willow are you alright in there?"Giles asked worry evident in his voice.

"Bloody hell, Watcher does it sound like she's alright? Unchain me, would ya mate? I don't want to listen to this all day."

Willow rinsed her mouth and went to assure Giles that she was already feeling better.

"Giles, I'm fine really. I just woke up a little nauseous. I feel much better now" she said as she sat down on the couch.

"Still Willow, I would rather not take any risks with you health. Lay down and let me take your temperature. Keep the thermometer there, while I go make some ginger tea to help settle your stomach."

Giles went into the kitchen to make the tea. In a few minutes he came back handed her the tea and took the thermometer out of her mouth.

"Your temperature appears to be normal, but I want you to lay down and rest anyway."

"Sure Giles, but really I'm fine."

Willow was fine, but she was secretly pleased at all the concern he was showing over her. Her parents never really noticed her and Oz had been gone for a couple of months leaving her feeled rather uncared for. Buffy had a new love interest in Riley. Xander spent most of his time with Anya. So she really didn't get to spend much time with her friends anymore. The doorbell rang interupting her thoughts. She started to get up to open it but Giles waved her back down. He opened the door for Buffy.

"Hi Wills! Ready to train Giles?"

----------------------------------------------

"Of course Buffy. Willow why don't you go lay down upstairs. You can rest where we won't disturb you."

"I have to go Giles. I need to go to the library to do a report for my history class and I promised to meet a friend later" she looked up at Giles who was wearing a concerned expression. "Giles, don't look at me like that. I'm fine. I won't overdo it, I promise. I'll see you all tonight. We are still having another research party, right?"

"Yes, we'll research more tonight. Do take it easy, I don't mean to be overprotective, but I worry about all of you. I'll see you tonight."

Willow said her goodbyes and left quickly. Buffy looked over at Giles.

"Giles? Was Willow sick this this morning?"

"Yes, she was. I suppose it's nothing to worry about. Willow assured me that she was feeling better."

"She told me the same thing three times this week when I found her throwing up. She told me that it was probaly stress over school and Oz. She said if she didn't feel better soon then she would go to the doctor."

"She has been sick for a week and hasn''t been yet? I'll talk to her about seeing a doctor tonight. For now, let's train" Giles got into a defensive stance and tried to push away his worries about Willow until later that night.

---------------------------------------------------------------

When willow arrived at the meeting everyone else was already there. Xander and Anya were on the couch making out completely oblivious to everything around them and Buffy was ingrossed in a fashion magazine. Spike was the only one who even noticed her come in.

"Red, you look like hell. What's wrong?"

The others looked up at his words to look at Willow. She looked terrible. There were dark circles under her eyes and her skin looked paler than normal.

"I don't know. I started feeling bad after I left Tara's."

Willow started swaying and sat on the couch before her legs could no longer support her. Giles came in with a tray of drinks. When he saw Willow he rushed to her side. He noticed the sparkle of magic about her.

"Willow, are you alright? You've been doing magic haven't you? Why on earth would you be doing spells when you were already sick?"

"I only did a small spell and I didn't do it alone. We were floating a rose. It shouldn't have drained me at all." Willow weakly replied.

"That's it. I'm taking you upstairs. You'll stay here tonight and tomorrow I'm going to take you to the doctor."

Giles lifted her into his arms and carried her to his bed. Shushing her weak protests he lay her on the bed. He went to his dresser and rummaged through the drawers for a minute before pulling out a large black t-shirt.

"Here. You can wear this tonight. I'll have Buffy bring by some clothes for you to wear tomorrow. I want you to change and go straight to sleep, you need your rest."

When Giles left Willow pulled off her clothes and slipped on his shirt. As she snuggled down under the covers she noticed that a warm and spicy smell clung to the sheets. The subtle scent of Giles lulled her into a peaceful sleep where she had lovely dreams of resting safely in Giles' arms.

Downstairs the occupants were not so restful. As Giles descended he was bombarded with questions about Willows health.

"Relax everyone I won't know what's wrong until she sees the doctor. The best thing she can do is to rest, so why don't all of you go home."

He promised to inform them of her situation as soon as he knew something. Once the gang was ushered out Giles sat down and let out a heavy sigh.

"How is she really, Watcher?"

"She shouldn't have been drained at all from that spell, even if she was already sick." Giles looked over at Spike "Since when do you care about any of us anyway?"

"Look mate, I really don't care, but since Red is the only one I can stand to be around I'd kind of like her up and kicking for awhile. Plus if she's on pain, I want to be the one to cause it."

Giles would have scolded the vampire but his voice lacked conviction when he spoke of hurting her. 'I do believe he actually likes her, amazing girl, she even has the ability to tame one of the cruelest vampires to ever exist.'

"Go to sleep Spike. We'll find out what's wrong tomorrow."

Spike grabbed a bottle of scotch and headed to the bathroom to sleep. Giles heard him muttering something about turning into the bloody poof. He lay down and closed his eyes waiting for a sleep that was a long time coming.

When the morning came around Giles went upstairs to check on Willow and get some clean cothes. She was still asleep and resting peacefully. He threw Spike out of the bathroom so he could shower. Spike was watching cartoons when Willow came down.

"Good morning Spike. Where's Giles?" She yawned and stretched as she spoke.

"He's taking a shower. Come sit down with me Pet. Would you like me to make you something to eat?" He made room for her on the sofa and handed her the remote.

"I didn't know vampires could cook."

"Most don't but Dru liked to me to make real food to serve at her bloody tea parties. I figured as long as I was going to cook I might as well do it well" There was a sad look on his face when he mentioned Dru.

"Thank you Spike, I am really hungry." she followed Spike to the kitchen where he proceded to whip up a fabulous batch of apple pancakes and sausages. "Wow, Spike I didn't really expect you to be such a wiz in the kitchen. You can even crack eggs with one hand!"

"I told you Pet, If I was going to cook I was gonna do it well." He put a plate in front of Willow and another at the watchers place. Then he handed her the maple syrup. "Eat up, love."

Giles walked in and sat down. "Willow, you shouldn't have cooked. you should be resting."

"I didn't. Spike cooked them. I think these are possibly the best pancakes I've ever had. Try them, Giles."

Giles hesitantly took are bite. "These are wonderful, Spike. Where did you learn to cook?"

"Don't sound so surprised I'll have you know I am a great cook. Anyway those cooking shows are kind of entertaining."

The mortals at the table snickered at the thought of Spike in the kitchen learning to cook from Martha Stewart.

"Willow, I've made you an appointment for ten o'clock. Buffy has already dropped off some clothes. They're in the living room. When you're done eating go and get ready and I'll drive you."

"Giles, I really don't like going to the doctor." She stuck her lower lip out in a pout.

Giles looked at her pleading expression 'Look at that lip, or better yet don't' he thought as he shifted uncomfortably in his chair 'If she thinks pouting will work she is sadly mistaken, not when it concerns her well being.' "Willow, stop pouting and go get dressed. You are going."

She stood up and went to dress when she saw a version of her famous resolve face staring back at her.

Spike looked impressed with the watcher. "I can't believe you were able to resist her pout. I would have let her get away with anything with that face."

"Yes, well, when it comes to protecting her I can resist any pout. If it had been something frivolous I'm sure she would have gotten her way. Now, if she had used her resolve face I'm not at all sure I could have fought that."

Willow stick her head in the kitchen "I'm ready Giles. See ya later Spike."

With that, Giles and Willow left the house and headed on their way.

---------------------------------------

Willow and Giles walked into the office and went to up to the receptionist to check in. They went into the waiting room and sat down. Shortly after they had arrived Willow was called into the back. She changed into the gown the nurse had left and waited for the doctor. There was a knock on the door and the doctor came in.

"Good morning, Ms. Rosenburg. What seems to be the problem today?"

"Hi Dr. Phillips. I'm sure it's nothing but stress but my friends insisted I came and got checked out anyway. I haven't been sleeping well recently and the past few mornings I've gotten sick to my stomach but the nausea goes away quickly. I've just felt run down lately."

The doctor did the usual exam. He listened to her heart, checked her blood pressure, drew blood. He had her go back to the waiting area until her bloodwork was done. She and Giles spent the next hour chatting about everything. He knew the she was nervous, so he brought up subjects like magick and her studies at school to keep her mind occupied.

"Ms. Rosenburg? The results of your tests are back. If you'll just come back to my office to discuss them."

The doctor led Willow to his office. They both sat down.

"Ms. Rosenburg, There is absolutely nothing wrong with you. You seem to be in wonderful health. The nausea and tiredness that you have been feeling is due to the fact that you are pregnant."

Willow sat in shock. "P-p-pregnant? I can't be pregnant."

"You are Ms. Rosenburg. Would you like to discuss your options?"

"Options?"

"Yes, options. Here are some pamphlets. You could chose to have an abortion or give the child up if you don't want to keep it. You have about a month until abortion is no longer an option."

"No, I couldn't do that. I'm keeping it. Is there anything else?"

"You'll need to make an appointment with an obstetrician soon, Will you need me to recommend one?"

She sat silently while he gave her the name of another doctor. She was shocked. 'I should have realized sooner, how could I be so stupid the missed periods and the nausea.' She walked out on shaky legs. When Giles saw her pale face he jumped up in an instant…

"What's wrong?" A thousand scenarios ran through his head. 'My God' he thought 'what if she had something terrible, cancer or some other disease that would take her from my life, I can't lose her. She means to much to me.'

"I'm pregnant." She said it so softly he was sure he must have misunderstood.

"Did you say that you're pregnant?" She nodded her head. 'Pregnant? My sweet Willow? That bloody bastard got her knocked up and left her. If I ever see that werewolf again I'll strangle him. Oh no, werewolf, I'll have to research what a hybrid wolf will be like. Will it change on the full moon? I don't think Willow could handle that. She hated watching Oz change.'

"Giles?" Willow asked interrupting his thoughts. "Are you okay?"

"I'm sorry Willow I was rather shocked. Are you alright, dear? Do you need to sit?" Giles felt terrible that he ha become so engrossed in his thoughts he had forgotten Willow's needs.

"Can...can we go now?"

"Of course, do you want to go back to my house?" She nodded and they drove in silence for the whole way home. He pulled into the driveway. They sat for a few minutes in the car. Neither made any move to go in.

"I'm scared Giles" she whispered softly. Her eyes were bright with unshed tears when he looked over at her. He opened her arms to her and she fell into them sobbing. "Oh Goddess Giles what am I going to do? I don't know how to be a mother. What if I ruin the her life? Oz is gone, what if he doesn't come back. She'll never know her father. What am I supposed to tell my parents? What about college? I don't have the money to raise a child. I live in a dorm for pity's sake." Giles rubbed her back and let her go on until she was out of words and her crying was reduced to sniffles and hiccups.

"Everything will be fine, sweetheart, I promise." his promises soothed her fears somewhat and she fell asleep against his chest. 'Yes Willow I promise I'll make sure everything's alright.' He lifted her from the car and carried her inside. He carried her upstairs to his bed. He lay her down but when he tried to move away her fingers tightened their hold to his shirt. Finally, he lay down beside her. She scooted closer to him and lay her head on his shoulder and wrapped her arms tightly around is body to keep him from moving away. Giles fell asleep quickly, holding on to the girl. Both slept soundly until they were awakened that evening by the sound of Buffy and Xander's gasps and Anya musing about whether or not they'd had sex.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Giles and Willow woke up at the same time to find themselves wrapped in each other's arms. Willow blushed and they pulled away quickly turning to face the people standing at the door.

"Hi guys" Willow squeaked in embarrassment.

"Hi Wills, is there something you two would like to tell us? You know about you two and why you were in bed together." Xander was beginning to look slightly wigged.

Anya looked at the couple on the bed thoughtfully "Xander I don't think they did anything. They're completely dressed, now if they were naked we could assume they were having sex up here. Of course they could have had sex before, they looked very comfortable together."

"Eeewww, bad mental picture. I'm so completely grossed out now. Wills ... Giles... naked...sex...eeww. " Xander was showing his disgust for that image, Buffy nodded in total agreement. Giles looked thoroughly disgusted at their display.

"Xander, are you quite through now?" Giles spoke with a particularly sharp edge in his voice that stopped Xander's tirade quickly. "Good, then we'll be down in a minute."

After they left, he turned to his companion "How do you feel?"

She let out a long sigh "I really don't know. How am I supposed to feel? I'm scared, worried, angry. Now, I have to go downstairs and tell everyone I'm pregnant. Then I have to figure out how to tell my parents. Actually" her expression fell "it would be possible to go through the entire pregnancy and never even hear from my parents."

He knew she was right about her parents. Mentally he cursed their inattentiveness, He had always wondered about how she could become such a wonderful women with the lack of parental influence she had received. "Everything will be fine." he spoke in a reassuring voice. "You'll tell your friends whenever you are ready. As for your parents, Whatever happens with them, you'll always have us to support you."

"I know, Giles, I know you'll be there for me and I thank you for it and for all the times in the past you've taken care of me and the others. We never show you the appreciation you deserve, but even if we don't say it, always know that we do appreciate you Giles." She stood up on her toes, grabbed hold of his shoulders to keep her balance and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. She dropped back down to her feet and stepped back a bit, a faint blush creeping into her cheeks.

"Y-yes, well t-t-thank you Willow. We should go downstairs now before the others begin to worry." They walked into the living room to face the questioning stares of the gang. "What's up Wills? Did you go to the doctor?" Buffy asked as Willow and Giles took their seats.

"Yes I did go to the doctor, he said I was perfectly healthy. I'm just... a little bit pregnant." Her voice faltered a bit on the last word. The others sat for a moment in shock. Anya was the first to recover.

"Well congratulations."

"Willow, how do you feel about it? Are you okay?" Buffy grabbed her hand.

"I'm fine Buffy, I just...I don't know what I'm going to do. I'll have to find a job and an apartment. Oz is gone, I don't know if he's ever going to come back. I'm kind of scared." Buffy pulled Willow into a hug. "Xander, you haven't said anything, what do you think?"

"I'm in shock. My little Willow is going to have a baby." Anya started to glare at him for the my little Willow statement and he hastened to explain "I just mean I've known her forever, now she's all grown up having a kid of her own. I'm happy for you Wills. Whatever you need I'll be here for you."

"Thanks Xander, that means so much to me." Her eyes were bright and shiny. When a few tears trickled out Xander made a reference to hormones and mood swings causing all of the girls to reach over smack him. "I'm only two months along Xander I'm not hormonal, okay."

They spent the next few hours talking about the future and their lives. Willow was content to know that no matter what else happened her friends would stand by her. When they finally went home for the night Willow felt that everything would be alright.

Willow made an appointment with the obsetrician for the next day. Giles went with her because everyone else was busy and she didn't want to go alone.

"Giles, I don't want to go alone, but I know this must make you really uncomfortable so if you don't want to go, just say so."

"If I didn't want to go then I wouldn't be here." He turned into the clinics parking lot. "Are you ready to go in?"

"Yep, Let's go."

Willow checked in and she and Giles sat down in the waiting area. A few minutes later she was called in. She gave a shaky smile to Giles before she walked away.

The nurse had her change into a gown and wait for the doctor.

"Willow Rosenburg? I'm Dr. Fielding. Let's get started, shall we?" He asked her questions and did his exam. "Well, Ms. Rosenburg, everything seems to be moving along just fine. Here are some prenatal vitamins that you'll need to take. You should be sure to eat meals regularly, no skipping just because you're busy, don't exercise to much. You'll need to come back in about a month. Feel free to call if you have any questions or concerns. You should also think about whether or not you want natural childbirth. We'll talk more on your next visit."

Willow thanked the doctor and went to check out and find Giles. She found him engrossed in a parenting magazine. She cleared her throat and smiled when he looked up.

"I didn't see you standing there, how did it go? Is everything alright?" he questioned.

"Everything is just fine. I have to come back in a month. I have my vitamins and I'm ready to go!" She was practically bouncing around the waiting room.

"I'm glad to see you so happy."

She grabbed his hand and pulled him outside. When they got in the car Willow cranked up the radio and started singing along. They arrived at the dorm and Willow got out of the car.

"Bye, Giles."

"Goodbye Willow, You and Buffy are still coming to dinner aren't you?"

"Yep, see you tonight."

Buffy dropped Willow off at Giles' early so that she could do a patrol before dinner. Giles was in the kitchen cooking so Willow was left with Spike to keep her company.

"How's it going, Pet?" Spike settled on the couch next to her.

"Everythings fine Spike, thanks for asking. I talked to my parents today, They said they'll be home next week for a couple of days, I guess I'll have to figure out the best way to tell them I'm pregnant." She sighed as she leaned back.

"I'm sure it will be fine Red. You have us no matter how they react." He wrapped his arm around her and drew her in so that her head was on his shoulder.

"You said us, you include yourself in the people who I can depend on?" She looked up at him. He nodded the affirmative and a few tears began to flow. "That's so sweet, Spike." she sobbed into his shoulder.

"Oh, Pet, please don't cry!" He began rubbing her back and cooing soothing words into her hair as he held her.

Giles walked in while she was still crying "What the hell did you do to her Spike?"

She pulled away from Spike and looked up at Giles. "He didn't do anything to me. These are happy tears, he said that he included himself in people I can depend on. Wasn't that sweet?" She began crying again and threw her arms around Spike's neck.

"Yes, love, that's sweet." Giles said while trying not to laugh at the helpless expression on the vampires face. "I better get back to the kitchen before something burns." As soon as he left the room he began to chuckle 'poor Spike'.

Half an hour later dinner was ready and everyone was seated at the table. They were all chatting about their day. Willow looked around the table,Xander and Anya were murmuring softly to each other, Spike was complaining loudly about everything, Buffy was complaining about getting her clothes dirty when a vamp knocked her down earlier, and Giles was looking at the gang with a content expression. Willow's eyes began to shine brightly as she thought how nice it was to be here with her 'family'.

Giles looked up and noticed Willow crying again."What's wrong, Willow?" he spoke softly and took her hand.

She shook her head "Nothing's wrong, I ...I just love you guys so much."

Xander and Buffy got up and they shared a group hug. "We love you to Wills!" Her answering smile lit up the room.

They finished their dinner and left with hugs and goodbyes around.

Willow took out her house key and prepared to open the door. 'Come on, don't chicken out, you can do it' She took a deep breath and opened the door.

"Hi, Mom? Dad?"

"Don't yell Willow! We're right here. How are you? Has school been going well?" She was going through the mail while she was talking. Willow opened her mouth to answer but her mother was already talking again 'That's nice dear, If you'll excuse me I have some work to do."

"Actually, I need to talk to you and dad. It's important."

"Well, if it's important, can you make it quick? We're really busy."

She gathered her parents together and had them sit on the sofa.

"Alright, What's so important?"

"I'm pregnant."

Her parents looked stunned. "Is this your way of trying to gain our attention? By telling us you're pregnant? Really Willow there is no need to fabricate stories."

"Mom it's true, why would you think I would make something like this up?"

"Sheila, dear, let's listen to Willow. If you are pregnant, who is the father? Is it that boy you were dating in high school? Why didn't he come with you?"

"The father is Oz. He didn't come with me because we broke up before I found out I was pregnant. I don't know where to reach him to let him know about the baby."

Sheila was beginning to look angry "What exactly do you intend to do about this problem? You are much to young to have a baby and if you came here expecting us to support you and this child, you should think again."

"Problem? No child is a problem. I fully intend to have this baby and to raise it alone if I must. I did not come here expecting money. I just came because I thought you would like to know that you're going to be grandparents." By this time Willow was almost shouting.

Her father stood up, put his hand on her shoulder and made her sit. "Willow, your mother is just concerned with your future . You can't afford a child, you don't even have a job, what about college, hmmn? You can't go to school, work and take care of a baby."

"I know how hard it will be, dad. I've already started looking for a job and I'll probably take a year off of college after this semester until I save up some money and things get more settled."

Her mother stood up "Well, it seems you have everything figured out. If you take time off of school, don't expect us to pay for you to go back. If that's all you wanted to talk about, I have work that needs to be done." She left the room.

Willow looked to her father when he stood. "Willow, I do hope everything goes the way you want it to. I am very busy, I must get back to work now."

Willow went outside.'Well, that went well, so happy they care.' She thought sarcastically to herself as she walked around Sunnydale. 'At least I have my friends' She looked up to see where she had wondered to. Giles' apartment stood in front of her, the light shining in the window like a beacon home as the darkness began to descend around her.

Giles opened the door for Willow and moved aside so she could enter. She walked over to the couch and plopped down with a loud sigh.

"Your parents didn't take the news well?"

"You could say that. Of course they threw out logical reasons why I wasn't ready to have a baby. That was after my mother suggested to me that I was only claiming I was pregnant to get attention from them. Then they basically told me I wasn't getting anything from them and if I quit school then they wouldn't pay for me to go back. Of course, after the whole five minutes they spent conversing with me they decided they needed to get back to working on whatever it was they were doing before I came, because everyone knows that work is what's truly important in life" she finished off her tirade in the most sarcastic voice she could muster.

Giles sat down beside her and without thinking put his arm around her shoulders and pulled her to him. "I'm sorry your parents weren't supportive of you."

She leaned back with him and lay her head on his shoulder as she put her arm around his torso. "Don't be sorry, it's not your fault they don't care." She curled her feet up onto the couch and shut her eyes.

Giles rubbed his hand over her back in a soothing pattern as he spoke again "I'm still sorry, I wish I could make them see what an amazing daughter they have. I do have some good news. I've done some research and from everything I could find, Oz being a werewolf should have no effect on the baby."

"That's good" Willow said through a yawn "I'm sorry, I guess I should go home, now." She made no attempt to move and soon both the witch and the watcher had fallen asleep clinging to each other in front of a dying fire.

When they awoke the next morning they found themselves covered in the blanket that Spike had put over them when he had come in early that morning. They both realized quickly that they were in a position that could cause some awkwardness and shifted away from each other. They each began longing for the warmth they had lost.

"I'm sorry, Giles I must have fallen asleep last night." She blushed a little recalling the position she had fallen asleep in.

"That's quite alright Willow. You're welcome here anytime, you know that. I'm just going to run up and take a quick shower." Giles held the blanket in front of hips so that Willow wouldn't see his burgeoning erection as he headed up the stairs.

Giles stripped and got in the shower turning on the cold water to try and tame his body 'What the bloody hell do you expect to happen when you sleep with a beautiful young woman in your arms, old man?

Especially when it's the same woman who has occupied your dreams for some time.' he groaned as he remembered some of those dreams. When he realized he was hard again he cursed his overactive imagination.

'Rupert Giles, get a hold of yourself' he thought to himself 'she would never be interested in you old man, you ought to be ashamed of yourself for even thinking such things. That poor girl down there trusts you and you're behaving like a dirty old man' he willed away his thoughts as he finished showering.

Willow was in the kitchen staring into her cup of tea, but in her mind she was seeing visions of Giles. 'He just had to mention the shower didn't he?' she thought as a particularly appealing image seared itself into her brain. She moaned as she imagined Giles naked with water streaming down his firm flesh, steam rising from his chest as he leaned his head back to let the water run through his hair. 'What are you thinking? This is Giles he would never see you as anything other than a child, and besides shouldn't you be thinking of Oz. It's only been a couple of months since he left, you're pregnant with his child and now you're having erotic fantasies of Giles. Get your mind out of the gutter young lady.' She grabbed a book and began to read to occupy her mind until Giles came back down and she could take her leave.

As she was grabbing her books to leave for class she heard a knock on the door. She walked over to open and saw Tara outside fidgeting.

"Hi, W..willow, I was w..wondering if you were alright, I haven't seen you in a few days."

Tara was glancing shyly at Willow and Willow couldn't help but smile. "I'm fine, thank you for being concerned about me. I should have called, I'm sorry. I've had a lot going on."

"Nothing's w..wrong is it?"

"Not wrong exactly, I found out I'm pregnant, actually."

"Pregnant? Really?" Tara acted surprised. "What are you going to do?"

"I've started looking for a job. I guess I'm going to have to find an apartment, soon. I'll finish up this semester and then I guess I'll have to quit for awhile. I'm afraid I won't have much time for spells, though. I probably shouldn't do any while I'm pregnant anyway."

"If there is anything I can do you'll let me know, right?"

"Of course, Thanks Tara. I really have to get to class or I'm gonna be late. I'll see you later?" She asked as she locked her door.

"Yeah, I'll see you later." As Willow walked off she missed the wicked smileon her face and the brief flash of light that sparked in Taras eyes.
